The Belgian-Moroccan action duo Adil & Bilall, who previously helmed Batgirl and Rebel and Bad Boys for Life, are directing this sequel once more. With their trademark blend of thrilling action and hilarious humour, the beloved “Bad Boys” are back, but this time there’s a twist: Miami’s best are now on the run in Miami. Columbia Pictures, in collaboration with Don Simpson / Jerry Bruckheimer Films, 2.0 Ent., and Westbrook Studios, is producing this one. Martin Lawrence, Will Smith,The cast of the last movie returns, including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, DJ Khaled, and Jacob Scipio. Tasha Smith replaces Theresa Randle, who performed the character in the previous three films, as Theresa Burnett. Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, and Joyner Lucas are among the new cast members. The critically acclaimed Belgian-Moroccan directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (also known as “Adil & Bilall” together), who have directed the films Image, Black, Gangsta, the other sequel Bad Boys for Life, and Rebel previously, are the directors of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, also known as Bad Boys 4. They have also directed TV shows for Disney such as “Bergica,” “Soil,” and “Ms. Marvel,” in addition to directing Batgirl, which the WB cancelled. Chris Bremner wrote the screenplay based on George Gallo’s characters.
