The era of Tommy Egan dominating Chicago is drawing to an end. After the third season, Power Book IV: Force will come to an end. The announcement was made on Instagram by series star Joseph Sikora.
Variety claims that Tommy will likely be used in a next entry into the Power world. “We saw that we were telling a complete story when Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, and that this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago,” Sikora stated.
Still, he said, “don’t worry. Tommy’s adventure is far from ended. We’re only getting warmed up, and I can’t wait to share with you our upcoming plans. I would like to thank all of the participants, including the actors and crew of “Power Book IV: Force,” and urge you to tune in because power never runs out and ghosts never die.
“To write the satisfying ending of this chapter in Tommy’s journey—a character myself and fans have grown to love over the past ten years—is bittersweet,” Lennon continued. Tommy’s universe will be called into question in Season 3, and I can assure you that it will not let us down! Even if “Force” could be coming to an end, the characters in the Power Universe have far more rich and engaging storylines.
